Update on my Stem Cell Treatment! (Hint: 0/10)

It's been about a month and 2 weeks since my stem cell injection. Now, I don't want to get too excited right now, but lately I've had ZERO leg pain and ZERO lower back pain! I'm starting to get really optimistic about this. It's amazing how a week ago I was scheduling surgery, and this week I have no pain whatsoever.

For the next month, I'll still be taking things easily. I can't risk messing this up over a day of fun.

Btw, I've posted an album (on the right hand side of the page) that shows my MRI before the stem cell treatment. I will get another MRI in about 2 months.

I'll keep you guys posted!

  1. Thanks for the updates. I have exactly the same degeneration as you, but you're a little further along, based on the pain levels you report. (But I'm posting this at 3:45 am because the sciatica is keeping me awake.) So, I'm following your accounts very closely.

  2. Regenexx keeps posting good news on their blog: http://www.regenexx.com/2010/05/low-back-disc-stem-cell-procedure-success/

Another patient with a successful lower back treatment. I'm hoping my MRI's show up on their blog in a month!! I'm feeling a lot better so I'd love to be one of their 'success stories'. BUT, I have to wait and see if it's not just a lucky 2 weeks I've been having.

Thanks for following! I will write out all the details I can about the results.
