5 Months: Party Party Party. Wow.

I might be overdoing myself, but my back says i'm ok!

I went to the Ultra Music Festival in miami this weekend, a three day rave... I basically stood and jumped for 8 hours straight each day. After that I went out with my buddies and had more drinks until 5am.

My back is still ok! I went to the gym today and I did biceps and back exercises. Again, back is doing great!

  1. Awesome! Great to hear!

  2. Mike, THIS is just what we all needed to read!!

Primarily, the fact that YOU are doing GREAT (and enjoying yourself!) is BRILLIANT!. I am really pleased for you.

Secondly, for me and I am sure others that have back problems that read your posts, I find them INSPIRING and I commend you for having the patience to update them on a regular basis when you have enough to contend with in your everyday life.

From a personal point, I was fortunate enough to come across your blog back in October and from that point onwards, I looked forward to checking on a regular basis for promising updates... I can't get through the day without checking ...it's become a drug in itself!!

That said, after much deliberation over which route to take, your progress has motivated me enough to conclude that THIS procedure (ADR/M6-L) IS the way forward for me.

Thankyou & please keep up these postings.

    Kind regards,

  3. Wow - that's amazing Mike. You are an inspiration to all of us out here with DDD.

    Thanks for the updates!

    - Chris

  4. Thanks everyone! I'm glad I could help you guys.. It's the least I can do.

  5. We need to demand the M6 here in the states! we must band together and fight - er - or something.

  6. :) Big smile. So glad you are acting and feeling young again.

  7. I just found this. Thanks for posting this dude. It offers a lot of hope to many of us. I know how debilitating a back condition can be and its inspirational to see someone beating this thing.

I know it may get old, especially as you get better and want to put the pain behind you, but please please continue to share.

    Stay strong and pain free!
